This is a general purpose glass cutter. Just dip the cutting wheel (tip) in cutting oil before cutting. This is a great cutter for someone with a lot of hand strength or someone that wants to do minimal glass cutting or doesn't want to spend more money on a more expensive oil reservoir cutter. These cutters are used by some professional glass artists, too.

To make your own cutting oil add some red transmission oil to paint thinner or kerosene (Jet A) If your cutter leaks too much fluid make it less thin by adding some 30 weight oil.
